Dear Kiwi!

Do you ever find yourself accidentally collecting things? I’ve come to realize I may be afraid of a blank page. I have so many blank journals, a beautiful array of styles, and quite a few gifted. I was gifted a Rule the Galaxy Star Wars journal back in 2016 that I suddenly gravitated towards as my communication tool with you. I suppose galaxy-themed is only appropriate, since I am simply writing into the ether.

I can’t promise my writings will be interesting. They’ll most likely be random blurbs or thoughts. Perhaps a few things I think you’ll like. This kind of stemmed from a memory…I don’t know if you had this in school, but in elementary school, we had a national pen pal project. I realized I missed that random feeling of connection. So, even though your specific face may come to mind, it is going to a stranger. I don’t know much about you, but limerance is real. If life has taught me anything, it’s that life is a funny little thing. Maybe one day I will know you, but even if not, I’ll have this collection of messages — where I’m reaching out in the universe, wishing to connect with the best version of you.
